The Capsule Wardrobe Basics you Need from Urban Outfitters Right Now ~ This Article may include affiliate links

After watching countless minimalist videos, closet clean outs, and capsule wardrobe basics hauls, I finally decided to purchase some new tops in basic silhouettes and colors that won’t go out of style. It was finally time to get rid of the stretched out Brandy Melville tops I have had since High School.

I was sick of my clothes falling apart or going out of style, so I was excited to buy some high quality pieces that stay away from trends.

First, I was wanting a light colored long sleeve top with a feminine silhouette linked here. I love the length of the crop and how the sleeves cinch at the wrist. This top is so comfortable and structured enough that I do not need to wear a bra. If you prefer wearing a bra you can without the straps sticking out in the back. I love how the model paired it with a high waisted midi skirt. I wore this with my high waisted black straight leg jeans and a western belt.

This Ivory One Shoulder top is SO flattering! You can wear it with absolutely anything and the fabric is very thick and not see through! The asymmetry elevates the style from just a basic white tank but it is just as comfortable. I was worried about what bra to wear under it and found that a strapless bra worked perfectly. This top looks so cute with layered gold necklaces. I will definitely be buying this in more colors.

Another One Shoulder Top. I have been loving this one as well. The strap is a bit thicker than the first but the fit is very similar. It is so easy to dress top up and it works perfectly in casual settings as well. The one shoulder gives the outfit more of an edgy vibe, I like to wear this with my Platform Doc Martens.

This Backless Bodysuit is so cute!! It has an adjustable strap in the back which really helps with the fit. I love the seam in the front allowing the bodysuit to lie flat on your stomach without creating that awkward gap until it tucks into your jeans.

This Muscle Tank was a no brainer for me. I love muscle tanks and this color goes perfectly with denim and black pants. The style is casual enough to wear with leggings for a comfy athleisure look. The fabric is so soft and it looks cute with a lacy bralette or cheetah sports bra underneath.

I was a bit nervous to order this Backless Long Sleeve Crop without trying it on first but I ended up loving it the most! The fabric is super stretchy and comfortable and you can go braless with no problems! I love the square neckline and I think the cutout adds the perfect amount of interest to the top.
